人成纤维细胞生长因子受体 3（FGFR - 3，又名 CD333 ），是 Research Grade Recifercept 的关键靶标。作为受体酪氨酸激酶家族的跨膜蛋白，FGFR - 3 在多种组织细胞中表达，关键调控细胞生长、分化、增殖及组织发育修复。生理状态下，FGFR - 3 与 FGF1、FGF2 等 FGFs 家族成员特异性结合，激活 RAS - RAF - MEK - ERK 和 PI3K - AKT 等信号通路，调节细胞行为。如在骨骼发育时，它调控软骨细胞，对骨骼生长塑形意义重大。然而，FGFR - 3 及其信号通路异常会引发严重疾病。遗传性骨骼疾病如软骨发育不全症，因 FGFR - 3 基因激活突变，受体持续活化，过度抑制软骨细胞增殖，导致患者四肢短小、身材矮小。肿瘤方面，FGFR - 3 异常表达激活与多种癌症相关，像膀胱癌中促癌增殖、侵袭、转移及抗凋亡，多发性骨髓瘤中促进骨髓瘤细胞存活生长，关联疾病复发与不良预后。
