IL-17A，又称 IL-17（白细胞介素-17），是一种促炎细胞因子。该细胞因子仅由记忆性T细胞和自然杀伤细胞（NK 细胞）合成，具有多效性作用，其主要功能是募集和活化中性粒细胞。IL-17 可调控核因子-κB（NF-κB）和丝裂原活化蛋白激酶（MAPKs）的活性，还能刺激白细胞介素-6（IL-6）和环氧合酶-2（PTGS2/COX-2）的表达，并促进一氧化氮（NO）的生成。高水平的IL-17与多种慢性炎症性疾病相关，包括类风湿关节炎、银屑病（牛皮癣）和多发性硬化症。IL-17 受体属于Ⅰ型跨膜蛋白，在表皮细胞、成纤维细胞、B 细胞、T 细胞及单核细胞表面均有广泛表达。
