促甲状腺素受体(Thyrotropin receptor, TSHR)是一种细胞表面糖蛋白受体,属于A类G蛋白偶联受体(GPCRs)超家族的LGR亚家族,并与Gs蛋白相连接。TSHR主要在甲状腺组织中表达,但其mRNA和蛋白也存在于神经组织、免疫细胞、眼肌、骨骼、脂肪细胞、红细胞、卵巢和肝脏等部位。TSHR接受促甲状腺激素(Thyrotropin, TSH)信号刺激后,启动偶联信号通路,促进下游效应基因的表达,刺激细胞生成甲状腺激素(T4)和三碘甲状腺激素(T3),对甲状腺的生长和功能至关重要。
