ERBB3，也称为Her3（人表皮生长因子受体3），是受体酪氨酸激酶表皮生长因子受体（EGFR）家族的成员。这种膜结合的糖蛋白具有神经调节蛋白结合结构域，但没有活性激酶结构域。因此，它可以结合配体，但不能通过蛋白质磷酸化介导细胞内信号转导。然而，它确实与 ErbB2或其他负责酪氨酸磷酸化的EGFR成员形成异二聚体，以产生受体复合物并启动相关途径，从而导致细胞增殖或分化。据报道，这种蛋白质在许多癌症中过表达，包括前列腺、膀胱和乳腺肿瘤。该蛋白质具有源自选择性剪接变体的不同亚型，其中，缺乏膜间区域的分泌亚型调节膜结合形式的活性。
